随着我国进入世界贸易组织竞争越来越激烈，假日酒店服务行业与国际市场接轨已成为大势所趋，酒店要迎接这场挑战，就必须提高酒店自身的竞争能力，提高整体竞争能力必须变革酒店的管理模式，提高管理水平。实施信息化建设无疑是实现这一目的的必由之路和明智之举。这就需要提供最好的服务，提供最完善的设施和最先进的技术。一个成功的酒店，其经营者不仅要提高服务水平和服务质量，从而提高客房占有率和回头率，还要有好的工作效率，并控制成本。在信息时代，更重要的是还必须要有一个完善的管理信息系统，便于方便客人和更好地管理酒店。同时入住酒店的客人很大部分是在外地参观旅游的。所以酒店应该和旅游业相结合以便创造更多的利润。
优秀的假日酒店管理系统应该是一套具有操作简单、灵活性好、系统安全性高、运行稳定的系统。我的毕业设计题目就是设计一个假日酒店管理系统，在前期的考察和分析之后，对系统进行了设计。本系统的开发主要用到C#，ASP系统和SQL数据库语言。本系统是基于C/S体系结构、采用C#.net语言和SQL server数据库开发的典型的假日酒店客房管理系统。 该系统的主要目标是针对酒店客房住房管理进行计算机化的管理，本系统主要功能包括：客房预定、客房管理、员工管理、系统设置、帐务管理和系统帮助。本论文主要阐述了该系统的需求分析、功能模块划分、数据库设计及主要功能的具体设计与实现，并就系统中用到的技术进行了介绍。
